The 2024/2025 High School Club Season is now over and it was a huge success.  In our third year of HS club season, we added an Open division in addition to the existing Club division.  The event we hosted at our home facility had 20+ teams competing.  That's over 120 athletes competing for their home beach clubs.

We are now starting a new Middle School Club Series!

Archived from the 2024/2025 Season:

We will be starting our Club Team program to compete in the Annual Club vs Club tournament Series.  The tournaments will follow the collegiate/high school format of play, but with Lines of 3 pairs instead of 5.  If you are not familiar with that format, it's setup like this.  Each Club will enter one or more Lines.  Each line consists of 3 pairs...Pair 1, Pair 2, and Pair 3.  Our Line will compete against the Lines from the other clubs.  More on that below.

There are 2 levels of play, Open and Club.  Club level competitions will be played on Saturdays.  The higher level is Open and those competitions are played on Sundays.

Club Team Fees

Club Team members are required to purchase our Smack Sportswear apparel package which includes a tank top, shorts, leggings, custom backpack and sarong for $250.  Entry fees for each event will be $50.

 

Tryouts will take place for the Torch Beach team on October 12th.  After that, contact the club by email at admin@torchvolleyball.com for consideration.

Tryout date 1 - October 12th 10:00am to 12:00
Backup date 2 - October 13th 10:00am to 12:00

Practice Dates

Practices will start the week of 10/14

Players are welcome to join our Monday and Wednesdays practices 5:45 to 7:45.

Club team only practice day TBD.

Attendance of one practice each week will be required for this team.

• November 23/24th - Sports Edge, Jacksonville

• December 7/8th - Villages

• December 14/15th - Torch Beach

• January 11/12th - Cape Coast, Cocoa

• January 25/26th - Port St Lucie

Club - contains one or more Teams 

Team - contains 3 Pairs

Pair - two players

Dual - competition between two club teams

​All of our tournaments will be Lines of 3 pairs.  For duals, each club will play the other clubs pairs.  Pair 1 will play pair 1, pair 2 will play pair 2, and so on.  There's also a possibility for alternate pairs to play. For lines of three, the winning club will need to win two out of the three matches within a dual.  Alternate games are non-scoring.
